Dae Bak Chophouse

It was a cozy, traditional Korean restaurant. Small place, but they cook with love. I got the spicy pork bulgolgi, it was delicious, spicy, and wonderfully tender. Comes with some good banchan and a good serving of rice, I will very much be returning

I love how it's authentic Korean food and how it's family-owned. The portions are large. And I absolutely loved how the Son explained the menu to me. And how they can make anything vegetarian pretty much. And spice level to your liking.

Edit: So I have increased my rating to max stars. I have come back several times since first review and this restaurant has not disappointed. The food is so flavorful. Broth in stews is awesome. Spices in meat dishes are superb. Every dish is distinct in its flavor. Heck i had the chicken wings and they were so delicious. If you are looking for something made like fast food this is not it. Food is made to order so larger parties might have to wait a little longer. They also serve side dishes of assorted kimchi. Food is delicious Full of flavor Portions were sizable. Decor is not much of anything but the food and service definitely make up for it. Plenty of parking Prices were reasonable. Dining area has about eight to ten tables so plenty of seating for the entire family. It was very quiet while I was there. They could play some music or turn a tv to break the silence. This is definitely my new Korean food business to go to from now on.

This is one awesome little place. We've never been, hungry and looking for some good food. We found this hidden gem. Very modest little place with off the hook good food. Dine in or get it to go. You won't be disappointed. Can't wait to get back there to try some more off the menu. I had the Beef Bulgogi along with crazy good Pot Stickers. Very tasty!!!

Yet another delicious Korean Spicy Pork meal!!! I give this full 5 stars! The food was absolutely delicious and completely authentic. Everything I tasted was right on point. The flavors were great. I had the galbi. Cooked perfectly with a very nice char flavor. All the side dishes were wonderful especially the kimChi. The service was absolutely wonderful and had a home feel. I have eaten Korean style food at every place in this city and this is by far the best. This is now my go to place for this food. Don't be afraid of the menu because you can order just about anything even if it's not on there, just ask. I also loved the fact that they were open at 10am because some of us like to eat a brunch. I also got the fried chicken to go because it looked so good as someone else's order. Well, I was right. Absolutely on point. I recommend this place especially for those of us who love no frills, delicious authentic food in a local place that has a home style feeling atmosphere. It's like sitting at the table and mom bringing you the plate from the kitchen. Love it!

I had the Jampong, it's a delicious broth that feels like it could cure sickness topped with egg, noodles, zucchini, and fish cakes. It came with kimchi on the side. So good in flavor and price.

I ALWAYS recommend DaeBak if you want REAL Korean food in Clarksville. It truly is the best homestyle food and portions.

Yummm! I’ve been craving authentic Jampong, and I finally found it here. For some reason, there’s always something missing when I order it from bigger Korean restaurants. It’s true what they say—if you want authentic Asian dishes, go to a small, family-owned restaurants. If I crave Jampong again, I’m definitely coming back.
